About the CEO
Yael Cik is a dedicated birth doula and overnight newborn care specialist with extensive experience supporting families. Her path to doula work was inspired by her own empowering experience having a doula at the birth of each of her four children.
Drawing on her background as a speech-language pathologist with a minor in rehabilitation counseling, Yael embraced her true calling, finding immense joy in the infant world and supporting families through their birth journeys. She feels deeply honored to be a supportive and calming presence during each unique birth experience.
Yael founded Mama Chick, LLC in 2024 so she could expand beyond her own scope of care and create an extensive team of extraordinarily passionate and skilled newborn care specialists.
